JUNE'S TOPIC: Focusing on Economic Recovery through Innovation and Technology
Matt MacBeth is an innovator and disruptor. At the age of 7, Matt applied to the LEGO Corporation for an R&D position, and since then has started his own entrepreneurial journey founding/cofounding/exiting several startup ventures. Matt is a pioneer in the fields of children’s toys, medical devices, audio and video products, and mobile apps. Matt recently turned down an opportunity with LEGO, and instead, joined The Brookfield Group as Chief Innovation Officer in mid-2019 after exiting his most recent endeavor. Matt’s current focus is on economic recovery, through innovation, of small and medium businesses due to the COVID-19 crisis. While not “working” Matt and Mary Beth, his wife of nearly 25 years, enjoy the outdoors, traveling the world, and mentoring anyone in need of financial or entrepreneurial services
